Terms of Service

These terms govern use of PanelVault. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated September 2026

The service

PanelVault is documentation software. It stores and displays information that electricians enter or capture about a property's electrical system, including panels, circuits, equipment, photos, documents, and service history.

Not an inspection

PanelVault does not inspect, certify, or approve electrical systems, and does not determine code compliance. Electrical Health Summary scores, recommendations, and AI-generated content are based on documented conditions and equipment entered into the record, and are not a substitute for an electrical inspection or a determination of code compliance by a qualified professional or authority having jurisdiction.

The licensed electrician using PanelVault remains responsible for all electrical work, judgments, and information entered into a record.

Accounts and access

Shop accounts are responsible for their users, for the accuracy of records they create, and for the PINs they issue to homeowners. You must have the right to document a property and to upload the content you add.

AI features

AI features draft content from photos and text for review. Output may contain errors and must be confirmed by the user before it is saved and relied upon.

Fees

Paid plans are billed on the cadence shown at purchase. AI capture credits are included with a plan at the stated monthly amount. Plans can be cancelled at any time and remain active through the paid period.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, PanelVault is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the product develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
