Privacy Policy

PanelVault is documentation software for electrical contractors. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Information we collect

Account information for electricians and shop users: name, email address, phone number, and company details supplied at sign-up or invitation.

Property record content created by a shop: property address, owner contact details entered by the shop, panel and circuit data, equipment records, photos, documents, permits, and service history.

Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as log data and error reports.

How information is used

To create, store, and display property electrical records for the shop that created them and for homeowners granted access.

To process photos and documents through AI services that extract equipment and circuit details for the shop to review and confirm.

To operate, secure, support, and improve the service, and to communicate with account holders about their account.

Homeowner access

Homeowners do not create a PanelVault account. They open a property record through a QR label or address lookup and a PIN set by the electrician, and receive read access to that property only.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with infrastructure and AI processing providers used to run the service, or when required by law.

Each shop's records are separated from other shops' records within PanelVault.

Retention and deletion

Records are retained while a shop account remains active. A shop can archive or delete property records from its account. Account holders can request deletion of their account data by contacting us.

Your choices

Account holders can review, correct, export as PDF, or delete the records they control. For access or deletion requests relating to your information, contact us through the contact page.
